About us

We live in the northern part of Denmark, North Jutland. We have always wanted a dog, but as I(Emilie) am allergic to most fur-animals it have never been an option, until we found out about the Coton de Tulear. We got our first Coton de Tulear in 2011, and since then more have joined our family. One Coton is never enough! We have completely fallen in love with this fantastic breed, and could not live without the dogs in our life.

 

Our dogs follow us everywhere. They go with my mother to work in our family business, and they go directly to the customers hearts. I believe it is also therefor they are not afraid of anything, because they get to know so many different people during a day.

 

We attend shows a lot with them, because it is both a great hobby with lovely people. I love working with my dogs in the showring. But showing is also a great way to learn about the weaknesses and strengths in a dog, which we use when picking the right partner to matings for our females - and males of course too. Our dogs are not only “showdogs”! they are family dogs, and are a big part of our family. We live close to the danish nature, and we - and they too - love taking the dogs for walks in our beloved area. We live close to the sea and woods. We have a closed garden for them to play in swell.

 

We have taken the DKK’s breeder education, and are members of DKK and also KSS. We follow their breeding princips. It is important to us to do what we can so ensure the future puppy buyers. We therefor DNA test for what we can within the breed, but not all sicknesses can be tested for so, sometimes the “only” thing you can do is to breed with knowledge and gut feeling. We test for patella and eye exam our dogs too. All this we do to give our puppies the best start in their lives, together with great socializations too of course.

 

Our goal is to breed healthy and breed typical Coton de Tulear, which can be what we love them for - a perfect family dog.
